CREATION, WILDERNESS, and TIME. These three aspects come to mind when I ponder the art of photography. My passion for capturing a moment on such a small scale of time means much more than just that. That exact split second in time most likely will never happen exactly that way ever again. Describing a perfect experience is heading out before the sun rises, the entire drive being constantly curious regarding my expectations, mentally preparing for the moment I may or may not get, and wondering if all the factors of a perfect photograph will present together. There is no greater wonder than heading out before the sun rises and wondering what the morning may bring. Whether it is setting up on an Ozark bluff and overlooking a beautiful fog-filled valley, hunkered down watching some giant bull elk grazing in a field, or driving and quickly pulling over to capture what catches my eye, photography is a passion of mine that will never die.
